Over the course of three days, hundreds of commercial cleaning professionals gathered in Las Vegas for BSCAI’s annual Contracting Success Conference. Held at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino November 11-13, the event served as a perfect way to close out the year and help commercial cleaning professionals reinvigorate their businesses and teams with fresh ideas.
Throughout the event, attendees had ample opportunities to engage in meaningful conversations with peers, connect with trusted partners, and explore new solutions. The conference also provided focused networking roundtables, giving space for in-depth discussions on topics like social media and branding, artificial intelligence, robotics, innovative sales strategies, succession planning, and more.
“Contracting Success was once again a hit, and I’m honored to have led the CS25 Committee as chair,” says Jason Lee, CBSE, CEO of Lee Building Maintenance. “The energy was unmatched, as commercial cleaning professionals gathered to make new connections, reunite with old friends, and learn from experts along the way. I’m heading home with plenty of new ideas to reinvigorate my team, and I know I’ll be calling on my fellow BSCAI members to stay in touch until the next time we gather.”
Ahead of the official conference start, a suite of seminars were offered, including the popular Bidding and Estimating series, as well as Plateaus of Growth, Productivity, and Supervision. These seminars set the stage for the hands-on learning that would take place throughout the rest of the week.
Led by more than 30 expert speakers, breakout education sessions offered insights on some of the most salient topics the industry faces today, from the secret to landing and retaining big clients, the art of exceptional customer service, ways to future-proof businesses, showing the ROI of robotics, and more.
This year’s event hit high marks, with plenty of ways to celebrate the association’s 60-year anniversary. Special recognition was given at the Milestones and Memories Luncheon, which celebrated the winners of the 2025 BSCAI CLEAN Awards, recognizing building service contractors who demonstrate excellence in several categories.
During the luncheon, guests were also treated to a roundtable discussion moderated by Jason Lee, featuring BSCAI Past Presidents Sally Schopmeyer, Arlo D. Luke, CBSE, and LeRoy Dock. The group shared stories of their time leading the association and what’s changed (and what hasn’t) since their leadership.
Closing out the week, keynote speaker and futurist Crystal Washington helped attendees look ahead and learn how to thrive in times of uncertainty. Rather than jumping to panic-based ideas, she encouraged business leaders to look for the breadcrumbs that the future tends to leave us.
Contracting Success 2025 attendees left with practical strategies, inspiring connections, and fresh ideas to advance their businesses into the future.
