Custom Waste Receptacles Enhance Stadium Experience

Company Website

Before the Texas State Bobcats kickoff their first FBS home game fans will already have plenty to cheer about — including the newly completed North Side Complex.  This $33 million project allows Jim Wacker Field at Bobcat Stadium to hold nearly 30,000 maroon and gold clad fans – and includes 60 decorative, durable metal waste containers to keep the facility looking great.  The custom containers which include the gold Bobcat logo are painted in Texas State Maroon and were manufactured by Witt Industries.

“These are very cool looking units” stated Bradley Justice, Director of Facilities and Game Operations Texas State University Department of Athletics.  “The first time I saw an image of the Witt unit, I knew this is the unit I wanted for our Stadium.”  Bradley Justice added “The units are stylists and functional, Witt did are excellent job handling our needs and we are very pleased in our section of the Witt Stadium Series units”

Combining aesthetics with functionality, these custom containers feature the Texas State Bobcat logo on the receptacles which are powder coated to match the university’s color scheme.  The receptacles are enhanced with protective coated bases to add durability and protect the stadium concrete.

“Witt is excited to be a part of this exciting, inaugural FBS season and we look forward to keeping the Jim Wacker Field at Bobcat Stadium clean and looking sharp for years to come” commented John Winfield, Witt National Sales Manager.  “As the premier leader in sports ventures, we’re honored that Texas State has selected our large capacity logo Stadium Series® waste receptacles for their football stadium.  Witt is proud to be part of the $33,000,000 North Side Complex project.”
