Carpet Cleaners Work Smarter

Company Website

It’s too bad carpet cleaners don’t charge by the hour. If they did, they might not mind that a 20-minute job takes 40 minutes all because the portable extractor has to emptied and refilled so many times.

But they don’t. Most carpet cleaners charge by the job and this means time is money. When a 20-minute job becomes a 40-minute job that comes right out of the bottom line, says Mark Warner, an industry carpet cleaning expert.
That’s why many technicians consider CFR machines that recycle and refilter water/cleaning solution.

With this type of equipment, water and cleaning solution can be recycled several times, minimizing the fill-and-dump cycles measurably.

“Carpet cleaners don’t have to work themselves to death to make money,” adds Warner. “Ultimately, improving worker productivity means working smarter … employing systems, procedures, and equipment that help speed up the cleaning process and meet cleaning quality standards.”
