Carpet Care: Have Extractor…Will Travel
Truckmount
carpet extractors are very effective carpet cleaning systems; however, they
have limitations, according to Randy Koch, owner of Vista Building Services in
Medford, Oregon.
Koch
outsourced his carpet cleaning work to a company that used only truckmounts,
“but we could not use them in multistory buildings or if they had to park too
far from the building being cleaned.”
Looking
for options, Koch investigated the King Cobra PRO from U.S. Products. The PRO
provides on-demand 212-degree (F) heat and has variable 150–500 psi. What’s
more, this is a dual-surface machine, meaning it can be used to clean carpets
and hard floors.
Now we’re mobile,” says Koch. “We can clean carpets and floors in just
about any building, and we can do it ourselves. We don’t have to outsource our
carpet cleaning work, which leaves a bit more change in our pocket as well.”
