Floor Care: Quiet and Cost Effective
A private school in Atlanta has begun a Day Cleaning program in an attempt to reduce cleaning costs.
This includes cleaning floors, which was a problem because their current floor care equipment was too loud to use while students and staff were in attendance.
Deciding to look for another machine, managers found one that was surprisingly well-priced, performed exceptionally well, and best of all was quiet: the BD 26/26 Walk-Behind Scrubber from Tornado.
“We call the BD 26/26 our ‘quiet cleaner,’” said one school custodian. “We clean the floors during class times causing little or no distraction.”
The BD 26/26 produces about 67 decibels of noise which is why Tornado calls it “whisper quiet.” Plus it can clean 32,000 square feet of floor space in about an hour.
“That’s a lot more coverage than our older equipment,” adds the custodian. “This improves our worker productivity as well.”
