Feminine Hygiene: Customer Health Is Paramount at Restaurant Chain

The restaurant chain Chick-fil-AR is stepping up measures to offer a more sanitary dining environment for its customers, particularly women and children.

Participating Chick-fil-A restaurants are now offering complimentary children's placemats and sanitizing hand wipes as an added layer of protection to help combat the spread of germs among customers.

The restaurant also is encouraging improved hand hygiene before meals. Hand sanitizers are conveniently located to encourage customers to clean and sanitize their hands prior to eating.

And to help protect the health of women patrons, the ladies restrooms at many Chick-fil-A locations have something new: touchless feminine hygiene disposal units from Cannon
Hygiene.

These units are foot-pedal operated or powered by an infrared sensor. The unit never needs to be touched, preventing the spread of germs and bacteria often located on the lids of conventional disposal units. A Cannon Hygiene representative returns to each restaurant on a set schedule, removing the used disposal units and replacing them with fresh and clean new ones.
