TANCS, a chemical-free, saturated steam vapor disinfection system, was shown in a recent study to destroy within 5 seconds a diverse assortment of pathogenic organisms, including vancomycin-resistant Enterococcus faecalis (VRE), methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), and C.
