The type of waste/recycling receptacle can vary, depending on the needs of the area. These are labeled not by color, but with shapes and verbiage on the lid.

A clean and organized janitorial room minimizes wasted time for custodians.

The staff uses a handheld ATP measuring device to calculate and monitor the levels of clean. These stats track whether cleaning expectations are being met.

In addition to using green certified paper products in the restrooms, UW promotes their green efforts to building occupants using signage on dispensers.
