Rochester Midland Names New President


Rochester Midland announced the promotion of Glenn Paynter to President at Rochester Midland Corporation.  Glenn has been with RMC for 30 years and most recently held the position Executive Vice President / President of Sales.  

Glenn received a B.A. in Biology from the University of Delaware and started his career with Rochester Midland as a sales representative in Delaware and he has been a Branch and Regional Manger, Presidents of RMC’s Canadian subsidiary, Director of Corporate Development, and President of the Distributed Products Division.  

Glenn is a sports enthusiast who enjoys mountain climbing in the Adirondacks with his wife, Susan.  He is also active with local triathlons, cross-country skiing, and golfing. He is a unit Commissioner for the Boy Scouts of America. Glenn and his wife live in Pittsford and have two sons: Chad, 26, and AJ, 24.

Glenn  replaces Michael S. Coyner, who retired at the end of 2011, following his twelve year tenure as President. Coyner will continue in the role of executive Director, with responsibilities to include assisting the company in major accounts marketing and sales training.
