Laura Wenger has joined the HFI Advisory Board


Laura Wenger, R.N., as interim executive director of Practice Greenhealth, oversees staff operations and program delivery for Practice Greenhealth. Laura brings more than 17 years of experience in nursing, consulting and professional education development in health care. In her role as interim executive director, Wenger will effectively address the needs of Practice Greenhealth members and staff by fostering working partnerships among board, staff and the health care community.
 
As a registered nurse, she understands the link between the health of the environment and the health of people and communities, and brings this knowledge to the programs and activities of Practice Greenhealth to make the health care sector a place of health promotion and disease prevention, and not just a place for healing. Working with staff and stakeholders, Laura assures that high-quality, cutting-edge programs are delivered to Practice Greenhealth members to meet their goals and serve as role models around sustainability in their communities.
