Armchem International Taps Frank Mauro for Leading Role at Handi-Clean Products

South Florida’s Armchem International, a business-to-business provider of specialty industrial and maintenance products, has named Frank Mauro as President of their latest acquisition, Handi-Clean Corporation.

Mauro, a 26-year veteran of the chemical industry, will run the day-to-day operations of the Greensboro, NC-based Handi-Clean, a manufacturer of environmentally friendly cleaning products and equipment.

“I have known Frank Mauro for many years and am very excited to bring him on board to lead the team at Handi-Clean. His expertise in sales, marketing and product development make him a great fit to expand the company’s distribution nationwide, help integrate Handi-Clean into the Armchem umbrella of companies, and leverage our new manufacturing capabilities," said Armchem CEO Andrew Brahms.

Mauro has extensive senior management experience and a proven track record in growing companies. Previously, he spent eleven years as President of Athea Laboratories where he was instrumental in increasing the company’s sales from $3.5 million to $21 million. He has also worked on consumer products, most notably with well-known pitchman the late Billy Mays and Orange Glow International, where he developed and launched the Kaboom line of cleaners.
