Recently, the landlord of a Montreal apartment building had no choice but to evict a tenant. “We can’t have 17 cats in one apartment,” he says. “The whole building was complaining about the stench.”
The landlord evicted the tenant on legal grounds, but evicting the odor was another story--and the unit could not be rented until the odor was gone.
