Hand Hygiene: Promoting a Healthy Workplace

Company Website

Dade Paper, an independent distributor of foodservice disposables and janitorial supplies in the Eastern United States, Puerto Rico and the Caribbean, was looking to promote a healthier workplace for its employees.

The company partnered with Kimberly-Clark Professional to implement The Healthy Workplace Project, a comprehensive approach to hand hygiene that helps tenants engage and educate their employees and give them the tools necessary to maintain a healthy workplace.

Carmen Casabielle, corporate director of sales for Dade Paper, immediately knew it would be a transformative program for the company and its customers. In fact, The Healthy Workplace Project fit perfectly with Dade Paper’s Wellness program.

“Since implementing The Healthy Workplace Project, we can keep people healthy with a simple set of tools provided to us by Kimberly-Clark Professional,” said Casabielle. “In addition, the program provides additional items, like signage, which has served as a great marketing tool and image enhancer for us and for our customers, affording us the opportunity to really get the message out there that we care.”

Dade Paper found that The Healthy Workplace Project provides real value to the company and its customers. As a result of implementing The Healthy Workplace Project, Dade Paper now has a corporate mandate set in place in all eight branches, requiring them to follow The Healthy Workplace Project protocol and keep it in front of the employees at all times.
