Don Saracen, a distributor with T.J. Russell Co in Bristol, Rhode Island, recently demonstrated ES 78+, a stainless steel cleaner manufactured by Enviro-Solutions, to a group of housekeepers at Charlton Hospital, Fall River, Massachusetts.
He was asked to demonstrate the product on stainless steel elevator panels, which, according to one observer, “looked like they had last been cleaned [with] acid toilet bowel cleaner.”
Apparently, the panels were covered with an unsightly, hazy white film that the housekeepers were finding impossible to remove.
With the housekeepers interested but a bit skeptical that ES 78+ could remove the haze, Saracen applied the product to the panels according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
The haze was removed. The stainless steel panels looked not only clean but shiny and polished. According to Saracen, a chorus of “oohs and aahs” could be heard up and down the elevator shaft.
