Algoma University, a renowned school in Ontario, Canada, received a certificate of accomplishment from Boreal Solutions, a jan/san distributor in Ontario, recognizing the university’s commitment to becoming greener and more sustainable.

To accomplish this, the university along with Boreal Solutions have been testing, evaluating, and selecting cleaning products that are proven safe and environmentally preferable and also meet the performance needs of the school.

The goals of the one-year project have been to:

• Eliminate toxic and corrosive materials used to clean and maintain the campus.

• Reduce the amount of waste generated by the school.

• Transfer to Green-certified cleaning products bearing either the Green Seal® or EcoLogo™ label.

The products they selected that passed all the tests above and met the school’s criteria were from one company: Enviro-Solutions, which has been manufacturing proven-Green cleaning products for nearly two decades.
