The reasons are many, according to Paez. For one, the CDS (clutch drive system) “gets hot and stays hot” right away.
 
That’s because the CDS is not only powered by the host vehicle, saving fuel and maintenance costs, but uses the heat generated from the host vehicle to heat the cleaning solution.

And the CDS’s electronic speed control (ESC) system boosts vacuum power by 30 percent. Carpets come out cleaner and dry faster, with less worker effort.
 
“With all this heat and [cleaning] power, I just go over the carpet once and it comes clean,” adds Paez. “In fact, since I started using the [CDS] machine, my back stopped hurting. The machine does all the work.
