World Dryer Corporation announces a new partnership with Willard Elementary School of Evanston. The manufacturer donated $15,000 of SMARTdri Hand Dryers to the learning institution, and Willard students designed artwork to decorate the units. The Green Art Program matches children’s creativity with environmental solutions.
Under this innovative program, Willard Elementary School art students used paint brushes to speak their own words of saving the environment -- landscapes of lush grass and towering trees, rows of wind power turbines on blue skies -- onto 15 blank covers supplied by the dryer company. World Dryer will sealed those painted covers, and installed the dryers at the school in April.
“At Willard School, our mission is to foster a caring community that values the whole child and motivates students to become lifelong learners,” said Principal Jerry Michel. The Green Art Program gives Willard -- one of the top 100 Illinois schools as measured by state achievement tests -- the opportunity to further their goals by instilling in students a curiosity about green energy and environmentalism.
