The Industrial Supply Association (ISA) is co-sponsoring the 2006 Employee Compensation Study, which will include 2,500 firms in 35 distribution lines of trade. The study will identify how specific compensation packages stack up to others in the industry.

Because hiring and maintaining good employees is essential to the profitability of a business, it is important to consider the overall employee compensation plan in pay scales and benefits programs.

The report will come in two sections. Volume 1 will contain information on the ISA companies taking part in the survey. It will provide information on both executive and employee compensation, including salaries, bonuses, commissions and perks. It also includes details on fringe benefit packages, such as retirement programs, health insurance and vacations. This volume is free to all ISA Home offices regardless of participation.

Volume II will focus on the large sample of firms who participated to provide information. Far more detailed than Volume I, this report is available in an excel format and will allow quick access to the information needed in a user-friendly format.
