According to the Memphis Business Journal, ServiceMaster Co. will move its corporate headquarters out of Illinois to Memphis by mid-2007. The decision was made by the company's board of directors after several months of review, according to the article.

The 165 employees at the Illinois facility were notified of the change. Those workers were praised "for their dedication and professionalism and expressed their desire to see as many associates as possible relocate to Memphis."
