Members of The Soap and Detergent Association (SDA) are offering their financial and logistical support to the Cleaning for a Reason Foundation.  SDA members raised more than $10,000 at the association’s first-ever Cleaning for a Reason Charity Golf Tournament, held at SDA’s 2010 Industry Convention in Orlando, Florida.

“Through the work of the Foundation, cancer patients are receiving a true gift of significance – a clean home when they really need it,” said Nancy Bock, SDA Vice President of Education.  “You can’t put a price on the importance of sustaining a clean home during times of treatment.  That is why SDA is involved and why we encourage individuals and families to learn more about the Foundation.”

The Foundation has granted more than $500,000 in free cleanings, helping over 3,500 women.
More than 667 residential cleaning services from 50 different states volunteer their time to help women clean their homes.

If you employ a residential cleaning service to take care of your home, encourage them to become a Cleaning for a Reason partner today.  Right now, Cleaning for a Reason receives more patient requests than are possible to fulfill. With more partners, more patients will be served.
