According to a recent press release, Pacific Building Care (PBC) has successfully launched comprehensive Green Cleaning Programs at Southern California corporate campuses for Cox Communications, the third-largest cable provider in the nation and in an additional 2.5 million square feet occupied by national entities in the auto manufacturing, HMO, and software development industries. These programs are designed to advocate healthier workplaces with a lower environmental impact across all industries. When fully implemented the PBC Green Program is expected to contribute towards lowering employee absenteeism, improving indoor air quality, contributing to safer working conditions, and improved employee performance.

Partnering with these prominent corporate occupiers in Southern California, all meaningful aspects of the Green Cleaning Initiative are integrated in the customized PBC Ecoclean Program. Industry-recognized best practices for the safe application of Green Seal "certified" cleaning products, dust containment, use of recyclable paper products, and high-performance vacuum cleaners are each strategically orchestrated in the overall Green Cleaning Plan.

In addition, PBC is working closely with facility managers and other key constituents to assist the corporate campus facilities in earning Leadership in Environmental and Energy Design for Existing Building (LEED - EB) credits towards this important certification.
