Members of the New Jersey Sanitary Supply Association elected three industry members to serve on the Board of Trustees in 2006. Each elected trustee will serve a three year term on the board.

Elected to serve from the Distributor membership are:

Bill Neill, Giant Services, Riverdale, NJ
Bill Neill, former New York Giant and Green Bay Packer nose tackle, founded Giant Services in 1988, a jan-san distributor in Northwest, NJ. A two-time nominee to the board, Bill is interested in becoming more active in the association and the industry. “I have made the jan-san industry my career following a very successful career in football. I want to give of my time to help NJSSA serve its members.”

Fred Schimanski, Crystal/Select Wholesalers, South Plainfield, NJ
Fred is the current president of the NJSSA board and has served on the board in various leadership capacities for six years. Fred also chaired Operation Clean Sweep, the association’s annual community service event, from 1997-2004, and the Marketing Committee from 2000-2002 He is the president of Crystal Supply/Select Wholesalers and has over 20 years experience in the sanitary supply business. “I have enjoyed my term as NJSSA president and as a Board Trustee. We have much more to accomplish to meet members needs and I hope to continue to accomplish them.”

Elected to serve from the Manufacturer membership is:

Stan Reichel, Banner Chemical Inc. Orange, NJ
Stan Reichel is owner and President of Banner Chemical, a manufacturer of sanitary maintenance products. He has been a member of the NJSSA Board of Trustees, serving as its Treasurer in 2002 and 2003 and as Vice President in 1995. Stan also served on the ISSA Board as District Director. He is active in his community and Temple. “I bring to this position an extensive knowledge of our industry, locally, regionally and nationally that I have acquired during the past 35 years. I will work hard to keep NJSSA viable and a true spokesman for our industry.”

Also elected by the board in December was Dan Rubinstein of Osprey Sales, Yardley, PA. Dan was elected to fill the unexpired term of Patrick Leighton who resigned from the board due to business issues. Also continuing on the NJSSA board in 2006 are:
