ISSA Show Begins Today in Las Vegas
Today marks the start of ISSA/INTERCLEAN North America — The ONE SHOW members of the cleaning industry can attend to network with high-level executives, as well as gather the information needed to better manage any distribution company, building services company or facilities department.
Held at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, NV, September 8-11, the show has experienced strong pre-registration numbers and an exhibit space sell-out. In fact, ISSA/INTERCLEAN experienced record registration with still five weeks to go before the show.
When asked about the pre-registration numbers, ISSA had the following to say:
“We have seen a pattern of increased pre-registrations for the last several weeks, even after many discount deadlines have ended,” said ISSA Director of Industry Outreach Dianna Bisswurm. “We are very encouraged by these early indications of what to expect at this year’s North American event, and we look forward to a strong industry showing this September.”
The positive pre-registration numbers are particularly significant when compared with the last two Las Vegas events, in 2002 and 2005. The categories with the largest increases in pre-registration currently are distributors and building service contractors, both of which are about 10 percent higher than the same categories of pre-registration five weeks before the 2005 event.
The sold-out ISSA/INTERCLEAN exhibition will feature 640 participants, including 90 first-time exhibitors. Housed in the same hall will be the returning DistriPakUSA™, the co-located exhibition for paper and packaging goods.
Today, look for the All-Industry Networking Lunch and Educational Sessions to be crowded. Tomorrow marks the introduction to the show floor with countless opportunities for networking, new product offerings, educational opportunities, etc. Wednesday will feature the Keynote Address by Dr. Bill Cosby, quickly followed by additional opportunities on the show floor.
