In exchange for helping with its scholarship, research, and charitable-donation programs, the ISSA Foundation is repaying the generous contributors of US$500 or more with a chance to receive preferred seating to hear highly acclaimed comedian and entertainer Dr. Bill Cosby deliver this year’s keynote address at ISSA/INTERCLEAN® North America 2008, which takes place September 8-11, at the Las Vegas Convention Center, Las Vegas, NV, USA.

The always-remarkable Cosby will address attendees on Wednesday, September 10, at 8:30 a.m., in the Barron Room of the Las Vegas Hilton. To take advantage of the preferred-seating offer, donations must be received by Friday, August 22, 2008.

Get Personal With Cosby

ISSA Foundation contributors of $500 and above are being offered this one-time opportunity to get “up close and personal” with Cosby as he explains that “You better love what you do; otherwise it sure won’t love you!” The “personal feel” will be made all the stronger by his main message—that more people should focus on the personal side of business, especially in the cleaning industry. And of course, this being a Cosby speech, attendees can expect the message to be delivered with a heavy dose of humor.

“In today’s fast-paced and bottom-line driven world of business, it’s not easy to lighten up,” says ISSA Foundation Operations Manager Tracy Weber. “When you are trying to do more with less, people become a commodity, and you can lose your sense of personal purpose. So put away the financial statements, set aside your customers’ complaints, and join Bill Cosby, one of the world’s most renowned comedic entertainers, as he leads the ISSA/INTERCLEAN audience on a journey to find the true and often funny fundamentals of working life!”

History of Great Work

Over the years, the ISSA Foundation has distributed more than $1.6 million in scholarships to ISSA-member company employees, their family members, and other deserving students to help them meet the ever-escalating costs of higher education.

In addition to helping worthy students with the rising costs of college, the ISSA Foundation also coordinates donations of cleaning products to disaster-relief areas in conjunction with such organizations such as AmeriCares and Gifts In Kind International.

Limited Time
Space for the preferred-seating offer is limited. To qualify—and give back to the industry through the ISSA Foundation—donations must be received by Friday, August 22, 2008.
