Housekeeping employees at the Pikeville Medical Center were given a celebration by various departments within the hospital. Identifying it as Housekeeping Appreciation Week, nearly 70 custodial employees took part in games, good laughs and some well-deserved downtime. Workers comment that the downtime is a wonderful way to get everyone together in a positive way. "You have to keep a smile in order to keep working hard and we have no problem doing that," said housekeeping employee Mary Walters.
