The Home Depot announced its plans to grow its supply division to between $23 and $27 billion by 2010 and ultimately become the nation’s number one diversified wholesaler.

According to reports in Modern Distribution Management, Home Depot Supply has grown by 143 percent in the past year. The goal is to continue this rate of growth and move into more distribution markets similar to their existing products and services.

With the purchase of at least nine distribution companies in the past year, Home Depot expects the supply division will grow to 18 percent to 19 percent of its revenues by 2010.
