Custodian Gone, But Not Forgotten
According to the Record-Courier of Streetsboro, Ohio, the children at Hattie Larlham Center for Children with Disabilities will be never forget David Kappes Myers. Myers, who died in 2004, left his entire estate of $243,649 to the school so that each child would receive a toy at the holidays.
Myers was a custodian at the school since 1988. During that time, he became very well liked and respected. School officials comment that the 126 children who live at the center are grateful for the generous donation.
