Cruise Ship Passes Cleaning Standards
According to the Associated Press article, the Royal Caribbean's Freedom of the Seas is ready to set sail once again. Following a mandatory docking, the ship received extensive cleaning after more than 380 passengers became ill.
The Centers for Disease Control ordered repeated cleanings of "high-touch" surfaces, such as door handles, elevator buttons and railings. When the ship sets sail again, there will be two physicians and at least 45 cleaning personnel on board for additional work.
