Cold Jet Dry Ice Blast Cleaning To Be Featured On Modern Marvels
Cold Jet, LLC announced that its Aero dry ice blast cleaning system will be featured on the long-running History Channel documentary television series, Modern Marvels. The episode, which will air on Thursday, September 18, 2008 at 9:00 p.m. EST/8:00 p.m. CST, focuses on mold and fungus and will highlight a mold remediation project in the Midwest. The cleaning project will demonstrate the benefits of using Cold Jet dry ice blast cleaning to remove mold from a water-damaged home. The episode will also re-air on Saturday, September 20, at 7:00 p.m. EST.
Cold Jet's dry ice blast cleaning systems are used by hundreds of cleaning contractors and company maintenance crews around the world for a variety of cleaning projects. The innovative cleaning process uses compressed air to accelerate soft recycled CO2 pellets at supersonic speeds at contaminated surfaces. The combination of the blasting speed and the temperature of the dry ice helps to kill more than 99.9 percent of mold spores. Dry ice blast cleaning is a non-abrasive, non-conductive process, meaning it will not damage the surfaces being cleaned and can be used to safely clean electrical components.
