CleanScene Scheduled for April
The National Cleaning & Hygiene Expo will be held at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre between 5 – 7 April and will incorporate all that cleaning contractors, facility and building managers, purchasing managers, warehouse, training managers and government agencies need to know about cleaning.
As well as a huge range of the latest technologically developed products and services from a diverse group of exhibitors, there will also be free workshops, NCSA seminars, the Cleanlink conference, a demonstration stage, the Clean & Green feature area, the NCSA gala dinner and numerous networking opportunities for visitors to CleanScene.
The seminar series, organised by the National Cleaning Suppliers Association (NCSA), is available to all visitors and will run nine free seminars over the three days of the show, including presentations by Diversey, Dyson, the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning & Restoration Certification and the Lennox Institute. Covering subjects from slips and falls, to sustainable cleaning, to hand sanitisation and fair work laws.
Visitors to CleanScene will not be disappointed in the latest releases in the more traditional cleaning supplies, including brushes, mops, sweepers, scrubbers, chemicals and vacuums, as well as new technologies and eco-friendly alternatives, such as ionized water, testing devices and laboratory services and waterless washroom alternatives.
CleanScene also goes beyond cleaning and hygiene, offering facilities managers and building services professionals, new ideas in graffiti removal, waste management and high access equipment.
NUCCRA’s co-located Cleanlink Cleaning and Restoration Conference will run during the first two days of the show and is available to anyone involved in the carpet, upholstery, hard floor and restoration industries. ‘Rev Up Your Business Engine’ is a jam packed conference program with expert speakers focusing on both technical and business topics.
The demonstration stage provides exhibitors with an additional opportunity to present their products and services to CleanScene visitors in a dedicated area. Exhibitors such as SEJ Solutions, Powerclean Industries Australia and SEBO Australia have already signed up to show their new product releases in action.
Support for the event is wide-reaching. With NCSA, NUCCRA, ACCA and BSCCA all pledging their support for the event, who between them account for some 90% of the Australian cleaning industry. Their members’ presence at the show will be very strong, based on high pre-registrations to date.
CleanScene will showcase the latest in cleaning products and services, provide educational and informative seminars, facilitate networking opportunities, demonstrate the use of products and services and will allow visitors to source new suppliers and to directly compare products side-by-side. In essence, CleanScene will have everything that anyone involved with the cleaning sector is ever likely to require, all under one roof.
Co-located alongside CleanScene will be Safety In Action as well as Melbourne Materials Handling, providing CleanScene visitors with plenty to see. Safety In Action will offer a range of safety solutions that goes well beyond personal protective equipment, while Melbourne Materials Handling will showcase the widest array of products and solutions dedicated to safe materials and manual handling.
