Catching up with N.Y. Green Cleaning Law
Green cleaning advocates have been paying close attention to New York schools, since late 2006, when lawmakers began requiring that all schools use green cleaning products and procedures. According to a DestinationGreen article, schools across the state have been successful in transitioning into successful green programs.
Much of the feedback from workers and building occupants has been positive and many workers commend their vendors for making the transition so easy. School officials continue to work on how to make the switch as easy on everyone as possible.
