ISSA has awarded Cleaning Industry Management Standard (CIMS) and CIMS-Green Building (CIMS-GB) certificates of achievement to The Budd Group.  ISSA developed the CIMS and CIMS-GB programs as the highest and most recognized industry stamps-of-approval for cleaning service providers as companies of outstanding excellence and for being committed to the utmost in customer satisfaction.

“Building owners and occupants are demanding that the cleaning industry become both more professional and more environmentally friendly,” Dan Wagner, ISSA director of facility service programs, said. “ISSA has taken the lead in establishing the CIMS and CIMS-GB programs to help provide a competitive advantage for cleaning providers who have met a high level of distinction.”

Following a comprehensive assessment of management and operational execution, The Budd Group demonstrated compliance with the five core principles of CIMS and CIMS-GB: Quality systems, service delivery, human resources, health, safety, and environmental stewardship, and management commitment.

The Green Building certification of CIMS (CIMS-GB) focuses on the delivery of an environmentally friendly, sustainable cleaning services.  This certification complies with many criteria of LEED for Existing Buildings: Operations and Maintenance (LEED-EBOM) Green Building Rating System, and for maintaining overall green operations.
