The Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) International elected its 2009/2010 officers at the BOMA International Conference and The Office Building Show, held June 28-30 in Philadelphia.

The Board of Governors of BOMA International elected James A. Peck, RPA, FMA, senior director, asset services, CB Richard Ellis, BOMA/New Mexico as Chair and Chief Elected Officer for 2009-2010. Other officers elected were: Chair-Elect Ray H. Mackey, Jr., RPA, CPM, CCIM, chief operating officer and partner, Stream Realty Partners, L.P., Dallas BOMA; Vice Chair Boyd R. Zoccola, executive vice president, Hokanson Companies, Inc., BOMA/Indianapolis; and Secretary/Treasurer Kent Gibson, vice president, Zions Securities Corporation, BOMA/Utah.

Peck has more than 25 years of experience in commercial real estate. In his current position as senior director in CB Richard Ellis' Albuquerque office, Peck oversees the Asset Services department, which manages more than 3 million square feet of office, industrial and retail space in New Mexico. He is responsible for property operations, client communications, strategic planning, marketing, construction management and directs the sustainability efforts of the Albuquerque office. He has been with CB Richard Ellis since 2001.

Peck has been an active member of BOMA at the local, regional and international levels since 1986. He was president of BOMA/New Mexico from 1995-1997 and served as Secretary/Treasurer, Vice President and President of the Southwest Region. He has also been active in several BOMA International committees, including the State Government Affairs Committee, Industry Defense Fund Oversight Committee, Finance Committee and the Government Affairs Committee, where he served as Chair.

In his position as chief operating officer at Stream Realty Partners, Mackey has grown his portfolio from 750,000 square feet of commercial space to more than 50 million square feet in six major markets throughout the Southwest, Southeast and West Coast areas. Before joining Stream, Mackey worked for Trammell Crow Company, Rostland Property Management Company, Texas Instruments and the United States Air Force.

Mackey has been a BOMA member since 1984. He has served as president of Dallas BOMA, director of the Texas BOMA Board of Directors, and president of Texas BOMA. He has been active in numerous committees at BOMA International, chairing the Education Committee, the Education Advisory Council, the Nominating Committee, the Reinventing Major Meetings Task Force and the BOMA 360 Performance Program Council. He has been a member of the BOMA International Executive Committee for two terms.

Zoccola has spent 20 years in commercial real estate, including roles owning, operating and developing real estate. He has been involved in BOMA International in a variety of capacities, both on the local and international levels. He served for four years on the BOMA International Executive Committee and six years on the Finance Committee. He has also been active in BOMA's Medical Office Buildings Committee. He served as president of BOMA/Indianapolis from 2007-2009.

In his role as vice president of Zions Security Corporation, Gibson oversees more than four million square feet in 30-plus locations. He also managed retail and multi-residential properties. He has chaired the BOMA International Audit Committee and the Standard Floor Measurement Committee, and has also served on the BOMA International Finance Committee and the Government Affairs Committee. Gibson has contributed to several BOMA floor measurement standards, including the recently published Gross Area of a Building: Methods of Measurement. He also served as president of BOMA/Utah.
