4M Achieves CIMS Certification
ISSA announced that St. Louis-based Mitch Murch’s Maintenance Management Co. (4M) has achieved Cleaning Industry Management Standard (CIMS) Certification.
“We have spent two full years preparing for this prestigious certification and just earned the highest possible level of achievement,” says Tim Murch, president, 4M. “As you all know, 4M does everything to continuously and constantly bring the leading edge systems, programs and technology to our customers and prospects and the CIMS Certification with Honors is just another example of leading our way to achieve our vision to become the absolute best facilities services provider.”
CIMS certified organizations must demonstrate compliance with the five core principles of the standard — quality systems, service delivery, human resources, management commitment, and health, safety and environmental stewardship — and undergo a comprehensive assessment of management and operational execution.
As part of the certification process, an independent, accredited assessor conducted on-site reviews of 4M’s systems, processes and documentation. The assessor also visited randomly selected 4M customers to ensure that the company’s activities are consistent with its documented systems and processes.
“CIMS allows our customers to distinguish between those companies that are truly professional and capable of getting the job done and those who are just talk,” says Murch. “CIMS offers assurance that 4M’s management systems and processes have been assessed by an independent, third-party and are in compliance with the industry’s leading standard and best practices.”
