ISSA ICE Certification Seminar on May 4 was attended by 43 industry members. Dave Frank of the American Institute of Cleaning Sciences conducted the session and attendees took the certification exam at the end of the program. Fourty-one participants received their ICE certifications.
Frank also conducted a seminar for cleaning contractors/distributors on May 5 entitled “How to Reduce Cleaning Costs” (pick up photo). Twenty lucky cleaning professionals who attended the seminar and the show won new vacuum cleaner systems from show sponsor Hoover/TFI.
“The Wednesday morning seminar at Supply Line 2010 on cost savings for environmental services was excellent. The presentation by David Frank, President of the American Institute for Cleaning Sciences, was one of the finest education programs I have ever attended at any association/organization/company event.
Our visit to the trade show opened the once a year window to new products, improved machines, an opportunity to measure "Green Cleaning" against our resources of time, durability, cost, effectiveness, ease of use. We identified several items for consideration and purchase. We all met and talked with the company representatives especially for the products we now use, a special opportunity.
The NJSSA and the NESSA are to be complimented and commended for arranging such a valuable event and experience.”
