AmSan Opens Distribution Center
AmSan, has opened a sales and distribution territory in the Columbus, Ohio market. This business expansion represents another step in AmSan’s progress in widening its national presence in the jan/san industry. Columbus is the fifth new market that AmSan has entered in 2008.
AmSan’s distribution center will be located at 2405 Industrial Street in west Columbus and will service Columbus and the central Ohio market. AmSan will begin operations from this facility in July.
The Columbus market expansion is being directed by Gregory Kashmanian, AmSan’s Northeast Region President and Shawn Scott, AmSan’s Columbus Division Sales Leader. Scott, who joined AmSan in February 2008, has over 18 years of sales distribution experience in the Columbus market and throughout the Midwest.
AmSan brings a wide variety of brand name jan/san products to the Columbus market, including Procter & Gamble, Kimberly-Clark, Johnson Diversey, Rubbermaid Commercial Products, and Renown, AmSan’s exclusive brand of quality janitorial products. AmSan provides training and seminars on processes such as Green Cleaning, MRSA, Right-to-Know laws, MSDS, equipment utilization, and floor care maintenance. AmSan’s customers can also take advantage of AmSan e-Access, an innovative online business tool designed to improve order process productivity.
