The custodial staff, maintenance, building and grounds staff and student movers at Canon City High School (Colo.), were praised for a job well done while preparing the high school for the start of the new year. According to the Canon City Daily Record, more than 30 people were described by school board members as "phenomenal, amazing and beyond the call of duty."

During the school board meeting, board members paused to applaud the staff's efforts and dedicated service to the district and to the high school.
