DadePaper acquires Kahn Paper Company
DadePaper announced the acquisition Kahn Paper Company, Inc. located in Capitol Heights, Maryland. Kahn Paper is a distributor of foodservice disposables as well as janitorial supplies and equipment serving the Mid-Atlantic United States. This important acquisition will allow DadePaper to expand into new service areas, creating a multi regional distribution system. Current President of Kahn Paper, Donald Kahn as well as Executive Vice President, Gary Kahn, will remain with the company along with the existing management team and staff.
DadePaper was founded in 1939 by current Chairman, Irving Genet, and is the foremost supplier of premium paper, plastic and foam disposables as well as janitorial/sanitation supplies and equipment in the Southeastern United States. DadePaper supplies resorts, hotels, cruise ships, country clubs, restaurants, delis, convenience stores, bakeries, cafeterias, grocery stores, schools, the healthcare industry, theme parks, office buildings and public facilities.
Headquartered in Miami, Florida, DadePaper has seven distribution branches and twelve sales support branches located strategically throughout the Eastern United States, Puerto Rico and the Caribbean. This acquisition compliments DadePaper’s strategic expansion and growth plans designed to better serve their customers.
