Kids across the country had the opportunity to spend the day with their parents yesterday, while learning what it's like to work in the real world. According to the Tennessean.com, for the second year in a row, 121 children of employees took part in Gaylord Opyrland Resort & Convention Center's career-day.

The kids had the opportunity to shaddow their parent for part of the day and participate in small tasks including minor housekeeping at the hotel.

In addition to learning about their parents jobs, kids particpated in events such as a housekeeping bed-making contest and a putting contest. Twenty-five employees chaperoned the children, whose parents work in departments ranging from the corporate offices to the hotel.
