Carpet Care: Really In The Customer Service Business
Jeff, owner of a carpet cleaning firm in Cleveland does not really see himself as being in the carpet cleaning business. According to him, he's in the customer service business.
"We just happen to clean carpets," he says. "And if you're not giving your customers the service they want-guess what-they'll go elsewhere."
To make sure Jeff's customers get top-notch carpet cleaning and keep calling him back, he has equipped his two trucks with HydraMaster's CDS 4.8 system-the clutch drive system that is van powered for greater dependability and reliability.
Compared to direct-drive or slide-in systems, CDS requires minimal space so storage is enhanced, there is better weight distribution, and all doors can be closed during operation so it's quiet.
"And it runs all day at 225 to 230 degrees...I love it," Jeff says.
