The United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) recognized companies as Champions under the agency’s Design for the Environment Program’s Safer Detergent Stewardship Initiative.
Atlanta-based Georgia-Pacific Professional, Earth Friendly Products, Wood Dale, Ill., and Eco Concepts, Miami, all earned Champion status.
Champion status is granted to companies that use only safer surfactants in products and documented strategies for ensuring that only those ingredients are used.
