Rose Angula, an employee of Central Sanitary Supply in Modesto, Calif., recently took home a new 2009 Smart Car as the grand prize winner of a Kimberly-Clark Professional contest designed to promote environmental stewardship and responsibility.
Angula was selected at the ISSA/INTERCLEAN North American Trade Show in Chicago earlier this month. She received a 2009 smart fortwo passion coupe. Four other finalists each received a $100 gift card. The contest was open to registered attendees of the trade show.
“Being environmentally responsible is smart for business and smart for individuals,” said Kevin McVeigh, associate marketing director, sustainability, Kimberly-Clark Professional. “Kimberly-Clark Professional believes it is our responsibility as corporate citizens to reduce our use of natural resources. The Smart Car is an emblem of sustainability, with its fuel efficiency and use of green technologies.”
Five finalists were selected at random at ISSA/INTERCLEAN on October 8th. Angula was selected as the grand prize winner when the key she chose was able to open a locked box containing the key for the smart fortwo passion coupe on display in the Kimberly-Clark Professional booth at ISSA/INTERCLEAN.
