Study: Comparing Soap and Sanitizer
In a recent segment, "Good Morning America" put various types of soaps and sanitizers to the test in an effort to determine what works at fighting bacteria and what doesn't. The reporter went to the University of Maryland, a world leader in food safety and microbiology, and did a small, informal test in which researchers washed their hands until they were raw. What they found was that not all soaps and sanitizers are created equal.
