Senior Management Changes At Rochester Midland

Rochester Midland announces the following management changes effective January 1, 2013. Katherine C. Lindahl and H. Bradley Calkins have been named Co-CEO’s, and Glenn A. Paynter, currently President, will become President and Chief Operating Officer (COO). Newton Green, currently Senior Sustainability Engineer, has been named Vice President of Corporate Quality. Harlan D. Calkins, currently Chairman and CEO, will continue as Chairman, with principal activities related to balance sheet items, such as capital, Shareholder relations, acquisitions, and special projects.

Katherine Lindahl joined Rochester Midland in 1993 and has held a variety of positions within the Company, including Senior Vice President, Distributed Products Division, Vice President of the Sanor Division, and is currently the President of the Specialty Chemicals Division. Katherine serves on the RMC Board of Directors and the RML Board (Canada), and has served on the RMI (South Africa) Board of Directors.  She is a graduate of Hamilton College and attended the University of Chicago Executive Development Program.  She is a member of the Board of Advisors for Doyle Security.   

Brad Calkins has been with the Company since 1990, starting as a Sales Rep in Chicago, and holding a series of positions including Detroit Branch Manager, Vice President Corporate of Development, Vice President of Marketing and Corporate Accounts, and he is currently President of RMC’s Global Division. A member of the RMC Board of Directors, Brad is Chairman of the RMC-UK Board. A graduate of Middlebury College, Brad also has an MBA from Georgetown University.

Glenn Paynter joined RMC as a Sales Rep in the Philadelphia area in 1982.  He has held positions of Branch Manager of the Philadelphia Branch, Water Energy Product Manager, Director of Corporate Development, President and CEO of Rochester Midland Limited (Canada), President of the Personal Care Division, and is currently President, North American Sales.  Glenn is a member of the Board of Directors of RMC and the Board of RML. A Cum Laude graduate of the University of Delaware, Glenn also attended the Executive Development Program of the University of Chicago.  He is active in the Boy Scouts of America.

Newton Green joined RMC in 2010.  Newt graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in biomedical and environmental engineering from Brown University.  He graduated from Dartmouth College with an MBA degree in Accounting and Finance and a Master of Engineering degree in Chemical and Mechanical Engineering.  He is a registered Professional Engineer in four states, a Project Management Professional, a board-certified environmental engineer (American Academy of Environmental Engineers), and an expert witness.
