ISSA Funds Employee Training
According to a letter to its members, the ISSA Foundation will award up to five scholarships to attend a four-day intensive industrial distribution program at the University of Industrial Distribution (UID). Scholarships in the amount of $995 will be awarded based on merit, individual accomplishments and evidence of leadership in the industry and the community at large. Financial need and other special circumstances may also be considered.
Scheduled for March 5-8, 2006, the UID is a concentrated educational program focused on the unique needs of the industrial wholesale distribution industry.
Applications must be completed and postmarked no later than February 1, 2006 in order to be considered.
UID is sponsored by the leading industrial distribution professional associations, in cooperation with the Industrial Distribution Program and School of Business Executive Education of the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
