Your Profile
When you join myCleanlink the first thing you do is create a profile, which is very easy and takes only 30 seconds. Once you have a profile you can customize it with pictures, announcements, conversations with your peers and information sharing.

Blogs
By joining myCleanlink you are automatically given your own blog to -- if you choose -- post your opinions and insights. To keep conversations going, you will receive email alerts every time someone comments on your blog posts.

Forum
Have questions or comments for the industry? Post them to the myCleanlink forum. Looking for a consultant or an expert? This is a great place to post requests.

Groups
Connect with like-minded facility professionals through various groups. Groups enable you to have focused discussions with others in the industry about the issues you face on a daily basis. You can even upload photos, mp3s or video to aid the discussion.

You can create your own group or join an existing one. Associations can create a group and post announcements and news, upcoming events or press releases. A group is also a great spot for consultants and industry experts to share their expertise.

Multimedia
They say a picture is worth a thousand words. Why not upload a picture or video to the multimedia section? Photos, video, power point and pdf files are all uploadable.

The bottom line…get connected by taking advantage of the knowledge base of other cleaning professionals.

Ask Your Peers...

Does microfiber really clean the way it claims to?

  • "It is fantastic in reducing waste, chemical consumption and lowering costs all while performing in outstanding fashion."
  • "I have converted four of my building to micro fiber, in the beginning I was the biggest skeptic, but I now feel that it is the best way to clean."
  • "It does pick up and hold more dirt and debris. Ditto for the dust mop and wet mop microfiber pads. I'm totally sold on microfiber and use it at all of our sites."
  • "It is great but there are many different grades of cloth out there. Make sure you are getting a good quality cloth. They last longer and do a better job."

May Question:
How do you benchmark your cleaning standards?

Editors Note

For some departments, a recession brings with it a new definition to “doing more with less.” Small budgets drop even lower, but cleaning expectations never waver. To help ease some of the burden that goes along with heightened expectations and depleting budgets, managers would be wise to tap into their resources and look towards their distributors for help.

Distributors are prepared to offer cost-saving strategies in the form of product usage, training techniques and cleaning efficiencies. This is a free and ultimately an invaluable resource available for the taking.

In these tough economic times, managers should do all that they can to help cut spending, increase cleaning efficiencies and maintain a safe, healthy and clean environment for employees and building occupants.
