One alternative to traditional bag and bucket ice melt that is growing in popularity among end users is liquid.
Liquid ice melter can be sprayed on surfaces before or after a storm. Cleaning or maintenance professionals can either use a hand liquid sprayer for sidewalks and stairs, or if covering more ground, sprayers can be mounted onto ATVs or trucks for parking lots.
Liquid ice melt doesn't contain salt and is effective in temperatures as low as minus 10 degrees Fahrenheit. In addition, it is environmentally friendly because it won't harm grass, trees and shrubs, and it is safe to use on concrete and asphalt.
