A Day In The Life With Day Cleaning

Once the building has opened it’s time to tend to the restrooms. One male and one female in each cleans stalls and sink, so as to never close the restroom. Once all restrooms are clean, workers go through again and again throughout the day for touch-ups and stocking. Between restrooms, workers should clean entry glass and entryways, break areas and respond to any special cleaning requests.
A new shift typically starts after lunch, when cleaners remove trash from work areas and clean and disinfect food-prep or break areas.
As the work day comes to a close, cleaners will go through the facility to vacuum and dust now vacant work spaces. Heavy and or periodic cleaning such as stripping and waxing floors or carpet cleaning will be done either after closing time, or on a weekend.
Both cleaners and building occupants become accustomed to the schedule and work together to achieve the overall cleaning goal.
