Floor Care: Medical Institutions Eliminate Acrylic Wax Finish Problems

United Floor Care, Inc. (“UFC”) announced the successful introduction and testing of its revolutionary Premier urethane floor finish, which eliminated nearly all of the costs, disruptions and inferior gloss issues of maintaining acrylic wax.

Greg Brown, president of UFC said, “Medical institutions were the driving force in shaping our commitment to better floor finish solutions. Hospitals and clinics using our system enjoyed durable higher gloss finishes that lasted 18 to 36 months with no maintenance other than mopping. Some clients have been through three full cycles of refinishing over six years. Those hospitals eliminated all buffing and stripping which concerns increasingly environmentally conscious managers.

Unlike other urethane floor finishes, which can take over twelve hours to dry, UFC urethane products dry in five to nine hours. UFC expects even faster dry solutions soon.
