According to Rick Garcia, owner of Business Floor Specialists, Austin, Texas, most of his carpet cleaning technicians prefer to use a truck-mount carpet cleaning machine.

But because Garcia’s company cleans carpeting in multistory office buildings, a truck mount is not always an option. So when his workers learned they had to use a portable extractor, they were none too happy.
